Outside Cusco
Saqsaywaman - "Head made out of rocks". In inca time Cusco was planned in the way of a puma and this sacred place formed the head.
 
Cusco city from above. The city holds today some 200 000 people, which is only 50 000 more than in the inca times.

The Pisac ruins with the common part to the left by the cultivated terraces, was built in a rough style, while the nobel part to the right situated higher up on the hill, was built in the inca imperial style.
